Accounts Manager Opportunity
Macildowie Recruitment and Retention are working with a logistics business based in South Leicestershire to find a skilled Accounts Manager to join their finance team.
The business has a long history within the industry, with a turnover of circa £40 million.
This role is ideal for a wealthy experienced individual with a strong background in accounts management, who is familiar with the day-to-day running of an accounts function and has some experience in line management.
The position will be office based, with the possibility of working on a more hybrid basis after the initial onboarding period.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Daily management of the finance function
- Monitoring of bank accounts
- Monthly VAT submission
- Ensuring invoice reconciliations
- Managing business expenses
- Supporting Third Party Accountants
- Line management of 3 transactional finance staff
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working within an accounts function
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience in Sage 50 ideally
- Line management experience would be desirable
