We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist to join our Bioanalytical Laboratory team at Intertek. As a Senior Scientist, you will play a key role in leading and managing the laboratory, driving the TQA promise, and demonstrating expertise in Bioanalytical techniques.

• Lead and manage the laboratory team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results and the development of new techniques and technologies.
• Develop and validate Cell Based Assay methods, including method development and validation to ICH Q2 R2 guidance.
• Perform Cell Based Assays using various analytical platforms, including plate-based formats, and assimilate and develop new techniques and technologies as required.
• Maintain a state-of-the-art knowledge in relevant Analytical technologies and platforms, and demonstrate innovative method development as required.
• Provide guidance and support to more junior members of the team, and pass on knowledge and experience to ensure the continued growth and development of the laboratory.

• BSc / MSc / PhD in Biology / Chemistry (or related scientific discipline) is essential.
• Performance of analysis by Cell based assays is essential, in addition, experience of Flow Cytometry and/or Molecular techniques is an advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of Cell based assay techniques with extensive experience of analysis of biopharmaceuticals, small and/or large molecules.
• Laboratory experience of Cell based assay method development and validation.
• Comprehensive experience of working in a GxP regulatory laboratory with strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and/or GCP principles.
• Strong method development and validation experience (ICH Q2 R2 Analytical method validation).
• Good IT literacy skills.
• Clear written and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly convey processes, results, and key messages.
