About the Role

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapy Equipment Specialist to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing state-of-the-art radiotherapy linear accelerators and associated equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Engineering, with experience in a clinical environment and excellent fault diagnosis skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and repairing linear accelerators and associated equipment
  • Applying engineering knowledge and IT proficiency to minimize clinical delays
  • Participating in quality assurance activities and assisting in quality-related tasks
  • Operating Linear Accelerators system to aid in the maintenance and repair of the radiotherapy treatment machines
