Early Years, the leading organization for young children's education, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Early Years Assistant Director for Young Children. This position will be based at our Newry Early Years Children and Family Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that children attending our daycare setting receive a high-quality early education environment, promoting their overall development from 2 to 12 years old. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a safe and welcoming environment that fosters inclusivity and promotes positive outcomes for all children.
  • Working closely with families to support and enhance their parenting skills, recognizing their role as first educators.
  • Innovatively designing and implementing play experiences to extend learning opportunities and achieve early educational goals.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (e.g., Child Development, Special Education).
