We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Project Scientist to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is a 12-month maternity leave cover position based in the Urology department, providing urodynamic services for outpatient, ambulatory, and video urodynamics.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will lead, supervise, maintain, and develop services requiring urodynamics, with a focus on providing routine clinical diagnostic services in Urology to University College Hospitals, University College Hospitals at Westmoreland Street, and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Key responsibilities include directing and carrying out Pressure/Flow Studies (Cystometrogram or CMG) in the Out-Patients Department and Video-Cystometrogram (VCMG) in the Uro-radiology Department. This involves patient contact, interpretation of clinical investigations, and reporting findings to referring clinicians.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will possess a First and Higher Degrees in a Physical Science, Engineering, or equivalent, and be eligible for State Registration as a Clinical Scientist. Membership of a relevant Professional Institute and PhD or equivalent research experience are also essential.
Desirable qualifications include Chartered Engineer or Chartered Scientist status, experience working in a scientific healthcare environment, and experience in routine clinical urodynamics measurement.
