Job Title: Assistant Psychologist - East Midlands Gambling Harms Service

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Assistant Psychologist to join our team at the East Midlands Gambling Harms Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing gambling harms who may also present with additional mental health needs or other co-morbidities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support and enhance the professional care of service users receiving support from the multidisciplinary team working within the East Midlands Gambling Harms service.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of treatment protocols for the service.
  • Co-facilitate groups and individual stabilization work as required.
  • Support the team with initial assessments and undertake projects relating to service development and evaluation.
  • Liaise with 3rd sector organisations to assist the service in its co-production.
Requirements:
  • Good honours degree in psychology or above.
  • Eligible for graduate membership of BPS.
  • Experience of working in a mental health setting.
  • Previous experience of working as an assistant psychologist or equivalent role.
