Job Description

Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Neurodiversity Specialist

Job Type: Permanent, Term Time only

Location: Newbarn School and residential homes, Berkshire

Hours: 5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Newbarn School and residential homes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with adults and/or children who have intellectual disabilities and/or autism with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to individuals with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service
  • Collect and analyze data to inform service delivery and development

Requirements:

  • Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
  • Experience of working with adults and/or children who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
  • Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
