Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced teaching fellow to join our computing department at Regent College London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computing, excellent teaching and communication skills, and the ability to contribute to the development of our programs and services.

As a teaching fellow, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching sessions to students, developing and implementing new curricula and assessments, and mentoring and supporting junior colleagues. You will also engage with stakeholders, including industry partners, employers, and alumni, to ensure that our programs remain relevant and responsive to the needs of the sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a variety of computing-related modules to undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Develop and implement new curricula and assessments, working closely with academic colleagues and industry partners
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, providing guidance and feedback on their teaching and research practices
  • Engage with stakeholders, including industry partners, employers, and alumni, to promote our programs and services
  • Contribute to the development of innovative teaching methods and resources, using evidence-based approaches to enhance student outcomes
Person Specification
  • Possession of a Master's degree in a relevant subject area, or equivalent professional qualifications/experience
  • Evidence of excellent teaching practice, as demonstrated through peer review, student feedback, or other assessment metrics
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality curricula and assessments, with a focus on student-centered learning and assessment design
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and external partners
  • Able to work independently, as part of a team, and demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in response to changing priorities and deadlines
