Job Description:

As an Assistant Manager at Halfords, you will play a crucial role in driving business performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Working alongside the Centre Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving profitability through productive management and leadership
  • Focusing on the customer journey to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Dividing time between the workshop and assisting the Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service

You will have had previous hands-on experience as a mechanic, and ideally be looking for a long-term career with excellent progression and training schemes.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in delivering high customer satisfaction and experience through effective management
  • Ability to deliver coaching/training in the moment to colleagues
  • Technical/Mechanical ability or experience
  • Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
  • IT Proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems
  • Good time management
  • A current valid driving licence
