We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on various construction projects and contribute to achieving exceptional commercial results.

The Role

  • ">
  • As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will provide accurate financial reporting, manage subcontractor accounts, and ensure effective relationships with customers.">
  • You will assist in achieving the business forecast, place subcontract orders, monitor progress against programme, and obtain competitive quotes.">
  • Your responsibilities will also include producing cost value reconciliation reports, ensuring timely payments, and monitoring internal expenditure against budget.">
  • In addition, you will operate systems to provide necessary contract information, ensure customer satisfaction, and support team members' commercial awareness.">
  • You will work closely with customers, representatives, and third parties on commercial issues, including agreements, claims, and additional payments.">
  • Financial closure of projects will be your responsibility, ensuring all costs and values are allocated correctly in accordance with financial timetables.">

Requirements and Benefits

">

To succeed in this role, you should have a good understanding of construction techniques, a BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent commercially related subject, and/or RICS Membership.

You will also need strong knowledge of collating and producing site records, period cost reporting, and experience with COINS.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and opportunities for professional growth and development within our company.
