Solar Energy Sector Manager

We're looking for a Solar Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving growth and acquiring new commercial contracts across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales record in the renewable energy sector, specifically in securing solar projects, and will possess a deep understanding of the commercial dynamics in industries such as Manufacturing, Warehousing, Industrial, Agriculture, and Retail.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in potential client organisations to promote our commercial solar solutions.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to identify and acquire new customers within targeted sectors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package with commission structure - OTE up to £100k per annum, company car (Tesla Model 3) to support business travel, pension contributions, and opportunities for professional growth and development in a rapidly expanding sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Minimum of 3-5 years of business development experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically commercial solar energy solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing commercial contracts.
- Strong network within the Manufacturing, Warehousing, Industrial, Agriculture, or Retail sectors is highly desirable.
