Job Summary

We're looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as Care Assistants. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centered care to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Support residents with their daily living needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring residents' needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to provide a safe and supportive environment for residents.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience in a care environment, preferably in a residential or nursing setting.
  • Care certificate or equivalent, or willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Good knowledge of care practices and principles, including the 6 principles of care.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivation and confidence, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
