We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Advisor to join our team at PeoplePlus. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting participants to achieve their employment goals and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Case Management: Manage a caseload of Restart Participants, working closely with them to identify their goals, aspirations, and barriers to employment.
- Progression Support: Monitor participants' ongoing progression into sustainable employment, developing their job search skills, strategy, empowerment, and confidence.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts to build a network of referrals for participants.
- Employer Engagement: Develop relationships with Employers, following up with participants and Employers to secure interviews and ensure a smooth transition into employment.
- Record Keeping: Accurately and timely record and review participant details and requirements for every intervention.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Rapport Building: Ability to build rapport with a wide range of participants, external networks, and colleagues.
- Assessment and Coaching: Confident in your ability to assess, mentor, motivate, and coach individuals to achieve their best.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, able to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Administration: Strong administration skills, good computer/technology skills, basic numeracy, and good record-keeping ability.
- Qualifications: Ideally, Level 2 English and IAG Level 4, however, these are not essential.
Previous experience of working with the unemployed or recently employed, supporting individuals with a range of barriers into work, would be beneficial but is not essential.
