Clearfield is seeking an experienced Groundwork Specialist to join their team in Ipswich, Suffolk. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of completing finishing groundwork tasks to a high standard, operating dumper machinery safely and efficiently, and assisting with drainage and other groundworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing finishing groundwork tasks to a high standard, ensuring all work meets the required quality and safety standards
  • Operating dumper machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Preparing and leveling sites, laying kerbs, paving, and driveways as required
  • Assisting with drainage and other groundworks as needed, providing support to the site team
  • Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations, including regular risk assessments and method statements
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in finishing groundworks, preferably in a similar role
  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Dumper Ticket, demonstrating competence in operating heavy machinery
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices on site, including knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and supervisors
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to high-quality work and continuous improvement
  • Reliable, with a positive work ethic and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
Salary and Benefits:
  • An estimated salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
