Exciting Opportunity for a Rock and Pop Music Educator

iRock School of Music, a leading music education provider, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Rock and Pop Music Educator to join our team.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a dedicated educator to teach Rock and Pop band sessions to children at multiple schools in Richmond and surrounding areas.
  • The ideal candidate will have musical talent, with the ability to play at least two instruments, including drums, keyboard, guitar, or vocals.
  • Strong organisational skills and IT knowledge are essential for managing schedules and tasks effectively.
  • A confident individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring young musicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Rock and Pop band sessions to groups of children at up to 10 primary schools per week.
  • Teach multiple instruments in a band setting, helping pupils to develop their musical skills and confidence.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, schools, and the wider community, promoting a supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of summer camps and other school activities.
