Job Description

This is a challenging role that requires an individual with strong operational risk management skills to join our thriving team at Saxton Leigh.

As an Operational Resilience Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure business continuity, including designing and delivering new controls and procedures in response to areas of operational resilience in regulation/legislation, feedback from the business, operational risk, and technology changes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure business continuity;
  • Designing and delivering new controls and procedures in response to areas of operational resilience in regulation/legislation, feedback from the business, operational risk, and technology changes;
  • Supporting process owners in the development, review, and overall execution of the BIA process;
  • Identifying main assets to be considered from the Business Impact Analysis results;
  • Providing training to correspondents on how to complete the BIA questionnaire;
  • Developing a consolidated BIA report, ensuring its validation and sign off;
  • Coordinating and supporting the development and execution of third-party assessments;
  • Representing the bank under the guidance and supervision of the Head of Operations in any group operation resilience programs and is embedding into the bank;
  • Assisting in enhancing and embedding operational resilience culture;
  • Assisting in collecting MI and monitoring for senior management and the board;
  • Record keeping and ensuring that all GDPR practices are followed during data dealing and record keeping;
  • Assisting in managing the design and delivery of business continuity standards;
  • Assisting in managing internal and external recovery arrangements;

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per year, depending on experience.
