Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Creative Support Ltd. Our supported living service in Cannock, Staffordshire, provides a supportive environment for individuals with learning disabilities to reach their full potential.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users to participate fully in their communities, promoting their rights and entitlements, and enabling them to become as independent as possible.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing personal care to our service users, including administering medication, assisting with finances, and helping with domestic tasks. You will also be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the service, which may include evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respect and promote the rights and entitlements of people with learning disabilities
  • Provide personal care to service users and assistance with domestic tasks
  • Work flexibly according to the needs of the service
  • Enable service users to become as independent as possible
  • Administer medication

Our service has excellent transport links, with multiple bus routes available. It is also close to some of our other services in the area.
