About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and Supplying: Accurately pick and supply products to meet customer demands, using voice-activated pick control systems and hand-held scanners.
  • Receiving and Storing: Receive and store goods produced in our factory, utilizing our racking system and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load customer orders onto trailers, ensuring efficient and safe loading practices.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company guidelines and health and safety protocols.
  • Departmental Targets: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve departmental targets and contribute to the overall success of the warehouse.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Literacy and Numeracy: Good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to accurately record and report data.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Temperature Tolerance: Ability to work in chilled temperatures, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Food Safety: L2 Food Safety certification is preferred but not essential.
