Genetec is a leading provider of security solutions, with a broad portfolio that encompasses security, intelligence, and operations. As a Senior Business Development Manager in the UK, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion in this key market.

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our sales efforts in the UK and Ireland regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in sales and management, with expertise in physical security and software industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and establish partnerships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory plans to drive revenue growth and expand Genetec's market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, integrators, consultants, and technology partners
  • Lead and manage change initiatives to align with evolving market conditions and business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing campaigns, product promotions, and other initiatives to drive sales growth
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to regional teams and ensure they have the necessary resources and support to succeed
  • Manage market reporting, forecasts, and achieve quotas
  • Pursue opportunities in the assigned territory, with a focus on SaaS solutions
  • Engage directly with end-users, systems integrators, A&E consultants, and governmental authorities to uncover product needs and potential points of differentiation

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of sales/management experience in the physical security and/or software industry
  • Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to thrive in a complex sales environment and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Strong leader with local, C-level contacts and a proven record of managing people
  • Demonstrable business acumen and technical disposition
  • Fluent in English, additional European language considered an asset

The salary for this position is £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position, with 60%+ travel expected within the region.
