We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Advisory Manager to join our team at Michael Page.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in financial planning and advisory, working with clients across various sectors including corporate SMEs, charities, and academies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and accountancy, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing strategic advice on financial matters, and leading teams of professionals in delivering high-quality services. This role requires a proactive and positive attitude to learn and develop, as well as the ability to coach and mentor junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors, providing strategic advice on financial matters
  • Lead teams of professionals in delivering high-quality services, ensuring excellent client satisfaction
  • Develop and implement effective financial planning strategies, identifying areas for improvement and growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions, leveraging expertise in tax advisory, business advisory, audit, and compliance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of audit and accountancy experience, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to clients and stakeholders
  • IT literacy and good working knowledge of accounting software, including proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach to learning and development, with a willingness to adapt to changing market conditions
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff members, with a focus on developing their skills and abilities
