City Football Group is a leading private owner and operator of football clubs, with a global presence and a commitment to empowering better lives through football. Our Football Intelligence team is at the forefront of this mission, using data science and analytics to drive decision-making across our clubs.

We are seeking an Analytical Engineer to join our team, working closely with data scientists and engineers to deliver robust, efficient, and integrated data solutions. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing pipelines for landing, ingesting, and quality-assuring datasets from various providers, working in both SQL and Python.

You will also support our data scientists by productionising newly developed models and advising on engineering best practice to improve code efficiency and readability. Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools, such as Azure Data Factory and Apache Airflow, is essential, as is knowledge of big data tools like Databricks and Spark.
