Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager - Windows & Doors to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling a manufactured range of PVC-u & aluminium windows & doors to the trade via installers, builders, contractors, distributors, merchants, showrooms, and housing associations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell a manufactured range of PVC-u & aluminium windows & doors to the trade
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, including installers, builders, contractors, distributors, merchants, showrooms, and housing associations
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, with a focus on new business development and account management
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction sales, preferably in the fenestration, building products, or window installation sectors
  • Strong knowledge of the trade and ability to build relationships with key customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving sales targets and meeting customer needs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
