Community Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Community Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Norfolk, UK. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work from home, with a fair and manageable caseload, and further training in your portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of service users and carers with complex needs related to their home environment.
  • Provide expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications to enhance independence and safety.
  • Perform adaptations, moving and handling assessments, and reduce or minimize the need for care packages, promoting efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain awareness of safeguarding vulnerable people and dignity & respect when interacting with individuals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Manual handling experience and proficiency in adapting to various environments.
  • Experience with major adaptations and ability to manage complex cases effectively.
  • HCPC Registration and Enhanced DBS/CRB (obtained through the company).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST QUALIFICATION.
