Kitchen Assistant

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen team in delivering exceptional food service in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and hygienic at all times.
- Store food items correctly and maintain health and safety standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and ovens, safely and efficiently.
- Assist with stock control and restocking supplies as needed.
- Contribute to food waste management and recycling initiatives.
- Support the kitchen team with any additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
- Basic food hygiene knowledge (Food Hygiene Certificate preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
