Control Systems Engineer Role

Job Overview- Manage technical work, whether leading groups of people or projects.
- Confident in electrical/electronic engineering, software engineering, or mechanical engineering.
The graduate will be exposed to all aspects of the business and encouraged to take a hands-on approach in the initial phases. They will play a key role in projects, conducting research, design, planning, system testing, implementation, and project control.
Key Responsibilities- Work on the entire lifecycle of projects from inception to completion.
- Given individual projects to manage from start to finish, supported and mentored throughout the scheme by a Project Manager.
- Collaborate as part of project teams and participate fully as a team member.
As the graduate progresses, they will be given increased levels of responsibility.
Engineering Disciplines- Mechanical Engineering: Design and manufacturing are at the heart of most Labman projects. Mechanical engineers use Solidworks to design and simulate solutions, creating various components such as bearings, transmission components, vibration isolation, fixings, and pneumatic systems.
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering: All Labman systems meet relevant EU and ISO standards. The graduate should become familiar with directives, legislations, and standards.
- Software Engineering: Software development is performed using C# with an object-oriented structure and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for user interfaces.
