Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic Finance team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounts Manager with various financial tasks, including processing employee expenses, daily banking, and cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices and raise queries as necessary
- Raise customer invoices and provide forecasts to ensure timely payments
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, customers, and departmental heads
- Reconcile bank, cash, and supplier statements
- Assist with month-end tasks, including reconciliations and financial reporting
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a finance department
- Knowledge of accountancy routines and requirements
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Methodical approach and ability to work under time pressure
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
