About the Role:
Flood risk management is a critical aspect of water engineering, and we are seeking an experienced professional to lead our team in this field. As Principal Engineer - Flood Risk Solutions Expert, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flood risk assessments and management plans for various clients across the UK. With your expertise in hydraulic modelling, hydrology assessment, and surface water management, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that minimize flood risks and ensure the safety of communities.

Our UK-based water engineering team works on a diverse range of projects, from flood alleviation schemes to surface water separation projects. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including a salary range of £65,000-£90,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a range of additional benefits, such as flexible working arrangements and access to professional development opportunities.

About You:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about flood risk management and has excellent communication skills. You should have a degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or hydrology, and be chartered with the ICE or CIWEM, or close to achieving chartership. Experience in IT systems, such as ArcGIS and AutoCAD, is also essential. In addition, you should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently, a collaborative approach, and a proven ability to deliver work on time.
