Claims Adjuster - Aviation

We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in London. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for managing and adjusting claims from first notification to settlement within pre-authorised authority limits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and adjusting claims across multiple classes of business, including Property, Casualty, Marine, and Aviation XOL
  • Providing technical support for the adjusting of various claims
  • Ensuring each client's claim service standards are maintained or enhanced
  • Managing and enhancing client relationships
  • Monitoring performance against contract SLAs and KPIs
  • Delivering and presenting reports to clients on specific claims issues
  • Mentoring and training less experienced members of the team
  • Appointing experts and legal counsel where deemed appropriate
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years London Market experience adjusting claims
  • Proven track record of adjusting a combination of Property, Casualty, Marine, and Aviation XOL classes of business
  • Proven experience in respect of the London Market process, including Broker CLASS @ Lloyd's and ECF Systems
  • Widespread relationships with brokers, adjusters, lawyers, and attorneys as appropriate in the relevant class of business
  • Able to work across multiple stringent client SLAs
  • Display excellent inter-personal and communication skills in order to interact well within team and with clients and brokers
  • Able to prioritise work, have good time management skills, and able to adapt to the changing demands of the role
