Service Manager for Adult Safeguarding and Quality Assurance

The Warrington Borough Council is seeking a Service Manager to lead the development and management of the adult safeguarding and quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that responses to concerns regarding adults at risk, or their care provision, are effectively coordinated and managed.
This includes undertaking and commissioning enquiries and investigations that uphold the statutory safeguarding principles and are effective in improving the health and wellbeing of adults and their carers.
The Service Manager will also provide strategic support to shape and influence the service environment so that excellent practice can flourish. They will manage service performance, meet key measurable objectives and targets while operating within statutory frameworks and financial resources.
The role requires a strong understanding of adult safeguarding principles and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
