Street Furniture Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Street Furniture Maintenance Technician to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our extensive network of street furniture, including post boxes, trucks, and trolleys.
About the Role:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on street furniture, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
- Work independently or as part of a team to deliver maintenance and repair projects, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address potential issues, ensuring that all street furniture is safe and functional.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a maintenance or repair role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites.
