Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage Specialist to join our team at Vector Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert drainage solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentoring and Support: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and assist on complex projects.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and resolve drainage issues for our clients.
  • Advanced Techniques: Utilize advanced equipment such as High Pressure Water Jetting, Core Cleaning, De-Scaling, and CCTV Surveys to resolve drainage problems.
  • Basic Plumbing: Perform basic plumbing tasks such as removing toilets and urinals, replacing isolation valves, and toilet components.
Requirements:
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in the drainage industry with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a drainage environment.
  • Technical Competence: Experience utilizing electro-mechanical and CCTV equipment, as well as performing basic plumbing tasks.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Punctuality: Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to approach and resolve issues logically.
Working Hours:
  • Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
  • Night Shifts: 4 nights a month.
  • Weekends: 1 weekend a month.
  • On-Call Duty: 1 call-out week every 10 weeks.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Overtime Rates: 1/3 additional pay from Monday to Friday.
  • Double-Time Pay: Available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
