We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist ASD Teacher to join our team at SANZA Teaching Agency. As a Specialist ASD Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting four primary schools in Hackney to enhance their learning experiences for students with SEND.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance on ASD support across four Hackney primary schools, ensuring inclusive and effective learning environments for students with ASD.
- Work closely with teachers to develop tailored strategies and interventions that promote student success.
- Assist in modifying curricula to better address the unique needs of ASD students, ensuring they receive a supportive education.
- Lead training and development sessions to equip staff with the skills needed to effectively support students with ASD.
- Oversee student assessments, track progress, and provide actionable feedback to help adjust teaching methods as needed.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required for this role.
- Extensive experience supporting students with ASD, ideally within a specialist or SEND setting.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, students, families, and external professionals.
- A team player who can work across multiple schools, improving SEND provision and outcomes.
- Passionate about ensuring that students with ASD receive the support they need to thrive.
- Shape the ASD provision in multiple schools, making a lasting difference in the education of SEND students.
