We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our internal communications strategy across our Transportation business stream.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications plan to engage employees and promote company initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and business functions to provide strategic counsel and internal communications support.
- Drive employee engagement through the creation of engaging content for our internal communications channels, including our bi-weekly newsletter and business update calls.
- Organize and coordinate internal events, including our Leaders' Workshop and employee roadshows.
- Work closely with our external communications manager to ensure alignment and consistency in our internal and external communications efforts.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in internal communications, public affairs, customer relations, or stakeholder liaison.
- Effective writing and communication skills, with the ability to take complex information and make it accessible to employees.
- A collaborative approach and strong strategic thinking skills, with experience in creating and delivering internal communications strategies.
- Strong people skills, with the ability to form productive relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Able to work effectively and build positive working relationships with senior leaders, providing counsel and guidance on communication activities.
