This is a permanent role with a salary range up to £80,000 on offer, plus additional benefits and perks. The successful candidate will operate mainly from home but may require on-site presence in the North West for key meetings.

The Category Leadership Expert will report to the Head of Procurement and become an active member of the organisation's Leadership Team. They will lead, manage, and develop the Health category team to ensure high standards of team performance and collaboration are achieved. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and oversight of delivery to the category, acting as a 'Category Expert' and supporting team members and stakeholders as required. They will lead a high-performing team, overseeing the implementation of transformational activities to drive improvements and build stronger relationships. The role will develop positive professional relationships and work collaboratively across the business to implement solutions that enhance service offerings and deliver ongoing value.

Key requirements for the role include:

* MCIPS qualification or alternative comparable qualification
* Strong experience working in a similar role, covering roles in Healthcare Procurement in the UK Public Sector
* Strong understanding of Public Sector Procurement Regulations (PCR2015)
* Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment
* Understanding of Category Management principles and implementing Procurement/Sourcing strategies at a Regional or National level
