Jameson Legal, a respected law firm in the Kent and Sussex region, is seeking a seasoned property law specialist to join their team. This exciting opportunity is suited for an experienced solicitor looking to further their career within a dynamic and established firm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, representing clients with property interests in a range of contentious property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handling landlord and tenant disputes, including forfeiture and possession claims, contested lease renewals, and breaches of covenant.
  2. Advising clients on real property disputes, such as restrictive covenants, easements, and adverse possession claims.
  3. Managing development disputes, including rights of light issues and option agreement disputes.
  4. Providing strategic guidance and dispute resolution services to clients in property insolvency matters.
  5. Handling party wall appeals and related litigation.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 2 years of experience in property litigation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of property law, with a solid understanding of landlord and tenant law and real property disputes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • A proactive approach and ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
  • A keen interest in business development and contributing to the growth of the team.

This role offers a salary of approximately £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
