About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Postperson with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a Postperson with Driving, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Work independently, managing your route and schedule to meet delivery deadlines
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Valid UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to walk and stand for long periods, and lift packages up to 25kg
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays

  • Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
