**Salary Range:** £38,890 - £44,503 per annum

**Job Description:**

As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing and discharging Amputee patients and working alongside experienced staff to achieve patient rehabilitation and discharge goals within the General Surgical setting.

This role involves working hours across Wednesday to Friday, including regular weekend working, based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Support workers, and nursing staff
  • Manage and discharge Amputee patients
  • Follow-up treatment of patients discharged from Critical Care to the Surgical wards

**Person Specification:**

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Registered with Health and Care Professions Council
  • Evidence of specialist clinical training in relevant areas
  • Evidence of broad range of pre- and post-qualification experience
  • Evidence of NHS experience in relevant area of clinical practice
