Vehicle Estimator Role

Circa £50,000 depending on experience in a busy vehicle repair environment.

About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Automotive Damage Assessor to join our client's team in Basildon, Essex. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and estimating repairs, working closely with customers, colleagues, and insurance companies to ensure efficient vehicle repairs and outstanding customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with insurance companies and third parties to gather and assess claim information, ensuring accurate and timely estimations.
  2. Work collaboratively with customers and colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and efficient vehicle repairs.
  3. Utilize your experience in a bodyshop environment to provide expert guidance on vehicle damage assessment and repair.
  4. Hold a full UK driving licence to facilitate site visits and assessments as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Damage Assessor in a busy vehicle repair environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and insurance companies.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
