Job Opportunity: Psychology Graduate Support Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology graduate to join our team as a support assistant for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in Southwark.

The successful candidate will work closely with qualified SEN and Mental Health professionals and Educational Psychologists to support students with their learning, assist the teacher in the classroom or one-to-one with a pupil. The role provides a valuable opportunity for the graduate to gain experience in an 'Outstanding School' with exceptional resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN and SEMH needs in a Southwark school setting
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to develop individualized support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring inclusive practices
Requirements:
  • A First-Class Psychology Degree or related degree from a Top 30 UK University
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Passion for supporting individuals and making a positive impact on the community

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £500 per week, commensurate with experience, and is ideal for graduates aiming to become Educational Psychologists or Clinical Psychologists.
