Lead Nurse for Resuscitation and Simulation

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Resuscitation, Simulation, and Clinical Skills services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of these services, working closely with the Lead Nurse for Practice Education and CPPD. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our nursing and midwifery educational delivery meets the highest standards.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs the Lead Nurse for Resuscitation and Simulation, you will be accountable for the direct delivery of resuscitation, simulation, clinical skills, and blood transfusion services. You will lead on Resuscitation, simulation, clinical skills, and blood transfusion services to ensure that local and national standards are achieved. You will provide expert nurse leadership, advice, and clinical consultancy to nurses and multidisciplinary teams in the area of Resuscitation practice, simulation education, clinical skills, and blood transfusion.
You will be the named responsible officer for resuscitation, simulation education, and clinical skill provision in the Trust. You will ensure that the provision of resuscitation training within the Trust meets national and local standards. You will provide strategic advice to ensure patients receive appropriate evidence-based resuscitation interventions and determine pathways of care from a range of options.
You will set strategy to ensure national and local standards for practice and operational response in resuscitation, clinical skills, and blood transfusion are implemented, ensuring that there are quality measures in place to provide assurance.
