Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of workforce management professionals to achieve high performance and continuous improvement in workforce planning processes.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of staff schedules to ensure all shifts are adequately covered while maintaining flexibility to accommodate demand variations.
  • Ensure efficient and effective allocation of staff resources, optimizing for both cost-effectiveness and high service quality standards.
  • Manage timekeeping records for all staff to ensure accurate data is available for payroll and other operational needs.
  • Collaborate with department heads, HR, and other stakeholders to understand and anticipate staffing needs, providing proactive and strategic solutions.
  • Manage relationships with staff agency partners to ensure they are aligned with our workforce planning objectives and capable of providing the right talent when needed.
  • Maintain compliance with UK labour laws, regulations, and company policies for all workforce management activities.
  • Presentation of regular reports on workforce performance, including KPIs, to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using workforce planning software and tools (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Access).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing a team.
