CNC Miller/Programmer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller/Programmer to join our team at Mobile Technical Staff Limited in the Abingdon area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set up, and operate all types of CNC mills to achieve optimal safe methods.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to enable programming, setting, and manufacture of products with a right-first-time approach.
  • Develop and implement efficient programming and operating procedures for 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC machines.
  • Create detailed layout sheets to document tooling, tools, setups, and machine parameters for repeatable results.
  • Utilize online programming skills to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Take ownership of quality assurance, utilizing MTE and completing quality reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong programming and operating skills for CNC mills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
