- Advise engineers on setting out methods and techniques, ensuring accurate and efficient execution.
- Ensure that 3D information drawings and specification documents are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Communicate clearly with foremen and gangers, ensuring full understanding of project information.
- Confirm written instructions from clients and designers, maintaining comprehensive records of resources and activities.
- Arrange regular checking of setting out, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain high standards of survey bookkeeping and daily diaries, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare and implement inspection and test plans, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Develop and maintain 4-week programs, monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare written risk assessments and method statements, ensuring control of works.
- Keep accurate and detailed daily site diaries, recording progress and issues.
- Carry out material take-offs and requisitions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Ensure all delivery tickets are cost-coded and processed by the finance team.
- Conduct testing and sampling of materials, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Qualified to ICE Technician or Incorporated level or equivalent.
- Successful experience at site engineer level.
- Thorough knowledge of construction procedures and working methods.
- Government legislation on all matters relating to safety and environment.
