We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to support the Science Department in our schools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about science education and wants to make a positive impact on students' lives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for science and education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in lesson delivery, preparing educational materials, and providing personalized student support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Science Department in delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of students.
  • Support students in their learning, both in and out of the classroom, by providing individualized attention and guidance.
  • Help prepare teaching materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Set up and manage laboratory equipment and experiments to ensure a safe and controlled environment.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to help students better understand complex concepts.
  • Assist with grading assignments and exams to maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in department meetings and school events to stay informed about upcoming initiatives and activities.
Requirements
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Demonstrated commitment to education and personal growth.
