Tanker Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist

At Menzies Distribution Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Tanker Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Tankers team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our tankers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out pump and hose washing, with training provided, to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Conduct daily cleaning of the wash facility and perform deep cleaning tasks on a weekly basis.
  • Participate in general yard work, including trailer and tanker checks, and yard tanker movements.
  • Monitor the quality of hoses and notify the Depot Manager of any requirements or damages.
  • Complete all required forms on a daily basis and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality management reviews and contribute to the improvement of our cleaning and maintenance processes.

Requirements:
  • Valid car license, with training provided to move HGV vehicles around the site.
  • Good observational skills to identify defective items.
  • Ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of £29,000 per annum.
  • Monday to Friday hours, 08:00-17:00.
  • 28 days' holiday entitlement, including Bank Holidays.
  • Monthly pay.
