Crane Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Crane Operations Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of cranes and digger machines on our construction project in London.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervising and coordinating crane and digger machine operations on the project site to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  2. Conducting pre-use checks and maintaining cranes and digger machines to prevent accidents and ensure optimal performance.
  3. Monitoring the performance of crane and digger machine operators, providing guidance and coaching as needed to improve their skills.
  4. Ensuring all lifting operations are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  5. Collaborating with the site team to coordinate crane operations with other activities on the site.
  6. Maintaining accurate records of crane operations, including lifting plans and safety documentation.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Crane Supervisor on construction projects with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
  2. Relevant certification and qualifications, including a CPCS card.
  3. Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe lifting practices.
  4. Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and coordinate the site team.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, with flexibility to work extended hours when required.
