Job Title: SEN Teaching Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Support Specialist to join our team at Aspire People. This full-time position involves working closely with teachers to implement tailored strategies that promote academic, social, and emotional development in children from Reception to Year 2.

About the Role:
  • Design and deliver customized learning plans to meet the unique needs of SEN students, ensuring their individual needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective support strategies, promoting a nurturing environment that encourages social interaction and emotional growth among students.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide individualized support to SEN students, adapting learning materials and activities to cater to their diverse needs.
  2. Foster strong relationships with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any areas for improvement.
  3. Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school community, promoting a culture of mutual respect and understanding.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with children, preferably in a SEN setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEN support techniques and strategies, including behavior management and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
Salary and Benefits:
