Job Title: Senior Site Manager

Build Maintain Recruit Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a commercial construction project in North Devon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site activities and ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead a team of construction professionals and ensure they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to complete the project successfully.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, such as SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid at Work.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, health & safety regulations, and building standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Proficiency in project management software, MS Office, and other construction-related tools.
  • Full, clean UK driving license required for site visits.
