Companionship Specialist

We are seeking a Companionship Specialist to support J, a gentleman in his early 60s, with engaging and supervising activities. As a member of our team, you will be dedicated to helping J stay safe and independent while fostering a friendly and patient relationship.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have experience in providing personal care, washing, and bathing, as well as administering medication and keeping detailed records of feeds, water intake, and medication. A good command of English is essential for clear communication. We provide training for PEG tube feeding and medication administration.
- Complete MAR sheets accurately
- Document medication deliveries and ordering
- Maintain organized medical records
- Care for my cat, Giggys, and engage in conversations about Manchester United
J requires 16-24 hours of care per week, with strict call times due to his PEG. We value patience and understanding, and we seek someone who can encourage J's independence while respecting his voice.
