Pertemps Network Group is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team in the Shropshire and Telford region. As a key member of our driving division, you will be responsible for conducting daily and weekly pre-journey safety checks, ensuring the truck remains in a safe and roadworthy condition.

The role will involve driving various heavy goods vehicles with different trailers, depending on the load. You will be responsible for internal and external deliveries, depot-to-depot deliveries and collections, and may be required to perform tasks such as handballing, strapping loads, trunking work, trailer swapping, and yard shunting/movements.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Category C+E entitlement, held for a minimum of 2 years
  • 6 months' experience driving C+E vehicles
  • Valid Tacho and DQC cards
  • A friendly, professional, and dedicated approach to customer service
  • An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace
  • A flexible approach to work and a willingness to support the team when needed
  • PAYE only
